Case study:
Our client was struggling to rent their property due to the condition of the kitchen and to make matters worse did not have available funds to completely renew it. As the client lived overseas they were not able to personally check the severity the issue so contacted us to see if the existing kitchen could be repaired or updated.
We were able to establish that the majority of the kitchen units were in very good condition and that most of the objections by potential tenants were due to the aesthetics and condition of the doors, plynths and drawer fronts. The base unit directly under the sink was also severely water damaged and the tap was corroded and leaking
We removed all the damaged and dilapidated doors and drawer fronts and sourced colour matched bespoke doors that were manufactured to size then fitted to the existing carcasses. We installed a new base unit and replaced the kitchen tap and associated plumbing. The result was a new looking, fully functional kitchen for just over £500.
